8 Tips for a Better You This 2018



1)         Get creative
Let your imagination run free.  Give yourself the permission to dream big.  Why restrict yourself to dreaming small when your imagination is limitless?


2)        Keep learning and growing
     Do more than you’ve ever dreamed possible.  Find inspiration everywhere.   Keep challenging yourself and get better with every task you complete. 

3)       Focus and Get Clear
Know what you really want.  Focus on it and keep at it everyday.  They say it takes 21 days to make a habit.

4)      Simplify
      You can’t say yes to everything that comes your way.  You have to say no once in a while to those not aligned with your purpose.  Free yourself from the distraction of doing too many things.

5)         Organise
      Sort out what you need, toss out what you don’t need. Declutter your life and make it easy for yourself.

6)         Have you time
     Take time to recharge yourself.  Pamper yourself from time to time.  Take much needed rest, get enough sleep

7)         Celebrate
      Take time to celebrate life’s moments and milestones with people important to you, those who have been there for you: your family and friends

8)         Collaborate
      Expand your network.  Get to know more people in your community and even online.  Find a way to share your skills.  Do some skill swapping.  Tasks are much easier and done faster when shared.  





I shared these tips on the workshop "Let's Create 2018 Our Best Year Yet" at Create On The 
Square.  We enjoyed creating plans, collecting images of what we'd like our future to be, and
eating charming cupcakes.  All in all it was a delightful afternoon!  Thanks to Create for hosting
the space.  Can't wait until the next workshop!
