Viva Andrada O’Flynn of Love Viva Cakes and Crafts was named the winner of Creative Business at
this year’s Women’s Business Conference Awards held in Cheltenham.
WOMEN’S BUSINESS
CLUB saw the annual Women’s Business Conference & Awards take place at the
historic Pittville Pump Room in Cheltenham. These awards are the leading
national awards honouring businesswomen in their business achievements or
career progression.
Hosted by the
Women’s Business Club, the jam-packed event gave female entrepreneurs,
executives and professionals the chance to network, learn and develop through a
series of talks and workshops.
The conference,
which took place on Wednesday 4th December, welcomed hundreds of delegates from
across the country whom all valued the opportunity to learn and celebrate each
other.
The day started
with a networking session before launching into insightful workshops. Each
informative session focused on maximising possibilities, helping delegates to
take away practical skills along with an insight into how to reach their true
potential.
Women’s Business
Club founder and CEO, Angela De Souza said: “We were so proud to present Viva with
this award. The award ceremony has really highlighted some of business’s best
entrepreneurs, and I’m honoured to have been part of such a rewarding day of
networking, learning and development. It’s always so uplifting seeing women
rewarded for a job well done.”
Viva O’Flynn said, “In the UK, far from family and friends back home in the
Philippines, I do my best to represent where I come from. In my own way I want
others to see the goodness and creativity of the Filipino people. It can be tough on the business journey from
starting it and continuing it from day to day. I keep persevering, taking one
step at a time. I have a long way to reach my goals, but it feels good that
whenever I attend networking events in Gloucestershire such as Women’s Business
Club, I feel connected and not alone in my business journey.”
Overall, this
year’s conference has been a huge success. Many fantastic connections have been
made, ideas have been shared, and partnerships are now in the making. Plans are
well underway for next year, join us during the first weeks of December at
locations around the country.
