Creative Breakfast at the Wilson: Holly Briggs of Assemble

The Wilson gallery plays host to Creative Breakfast for creatives in Cheltenham.   Held once a month on a Friday, attendees can have delicious breakfast, network with fellow creatives, and get inspired with a short talk from leaders across the creative industries.  It starts from 8:30 am and finishes at 9:30 am.  Sessions are free, but it's a charity so there is a suggested donation of £4.   If you want to join, booking is essential: Creative Breakfast Ticket-Click here To get in, you'll need to show a ticket for entry-either on your phone or printed.

On June 30, 2017, The first ever Creative Breakfast at the Wilson was held.  The  speaker was Holly Briggs, founding member of Turner Prize winning collective Assemble.

Holly Briggs on Assemble:

"Why I find assemble so exciting: 1) It grew out of having a go, grew out of mutual friendship, we respect each other.  It's extraordinary to be part of that 2) Assemble is democratic; there is no hierarchy.  It's a bit troubling at times, but it has to function that way.  We're mutually dependent on each other for existing.  3) It's constantly evolving, adapt and bettering itself, reviewing and supporting each other.  We love to collaborate."
